This Camel head down figure from Original Heide captures a lifelike gesture in hand-carved wood. The figure is part of a collection known for detailed animal carvings in maple and lime wood, hand-painted by master artisans.

The Camel head down figure by Original Heide represents a camel with its head lowered, capturing a naturalistic pose with remarkable detail. Created by the family woodcarving workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy, this figure is hand-carved entirely from mountain maple wood. It is hand-finished, textured, and hand-painted by skilled artisans, ensuring a lifelike and expressive appearance.

This figure belongs to the Original Heide line, which pairs undressed animal figures with various collections such as Immanuel, Rustika, and Hannah. Each figure is posed on a wire armature and draped in hardened fabrics, a signature construction method of the studio. Offered in sizes ranging from 12 to 20 cm, this camel is an indoor collectible nativity figure that complements traditional nativity sets with its rustic charm and artisan craftsmanship.
