This Camel lying for King is part of the Heide Hannah collection by Original Heide, a family workshop in Val Gardena known for hand-carved wooden nativity figures. The figure features detailed carving and vibrant fabric draping.

The Camel lying for King figure represents a resting camel traditionally associated with the Three Kings nativity scene. Created by Original Heide, a family woodcarving workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy, this figure is hand-carved from mountain maple and lime wood. It is posed on a wire armature and draped in richly detailed, hardened fabrics that add texture and color to the piece.

The camel is meticulously hand-painted and accessorized with miniature woven baskets and fabric coverings, capturing lifelike gestures and traditional nativity scene elements. Offered in sizes ranging from 12 to 20 cm, this wooden nativity figure pairs beautifully with other figures from the Heide Hannah collection and is designed for indoor nativity displays. Navidad Nativities selects and ships each figure, ensuring heirloom-quality craftsmanship.
