Camel head high is a hand-carved wooden animal figure by Original Heide, a family workshop in Val Gardena known for lifelike nativity figures in maple and lime wood.

This camel figure, titled Camel head high, is part of the Original Heide animal collection, renowned for its realistic and expressive woodcarvings. Each piece is carved entirely from mountain maple, then hand-finished, textured, and hand-painted by master artisans in the Val Gardena workshop. The figure captures a camel with its head raised, showcasing detailed anatomy and naturalistic coloring.

Original Heide figures are posed on wire armatures and draped in hardened fabrics when applicable, though this undressed animal figure is presented fully carved and painted. It pairs well with the studio's Immanuel, Rustika, and Hannah collections, complementing a variety of traditional nativity sets. This artisan nativity figure is available in sizes ranging from 12 to 20 cm, suitable for indoor nativity scenes and collections.

Selected and shipped by Navidad Nativities, this collectible wooden nativity figure embodies the rich heritage of Italian hand-carved nativity art from South Tyrol.
