This Camel Lying Down figure is part of the Marolin Nativities collection, known for papier-mâché nativity figures made in traditional molds and hand-painted in Germany. It features a resting camel with detailed texture and a red rope halter.

The Camel Lying Down figure represents a camel resting on the ground, a common animal in nativity scenes symbolizing the journey of the Magi. It is crafted by Marolin, a German studio in Thuringia with a heritage dating back to 1900, specializing in papier-mâché figures made using traditional molds and hand-painted finishes. This figure is part of the Marolin Nativities collection, which includes a variety of animals and nativity characters.

Made entirely from papier-mâché, the camel is painted in natural beige and brown tones with textured fur detail and two humps. It wears a simple red rope halter around its head, adding a touch of color and authenticity. The figure is designed for indoor nativity displays and is offered in a single size. Navidad Nativities carefully selects and ships these artisan figures, ensuring quality and tradition in each piece.
