This Shepherd With Fur Coat & Sheep figure is part of the Marolin Nativities collection, crafted in papier-mâché using traditional moulds and hand-painted for detailed realism.

The Shepherd With Fur Coat & Sheep figure represents a shepherd holding a lamb, a classic nativity character symbolizing care and watchfulness. Made by Marolin in Thuringia, Germany, this figure is crafted from papier-mâché using traditional moulds, then hand-painted to bring out fine details such as the textured fur coat and gentle facial expression. The figure stands barefoot on a green base, enhancing its rustic charm.

Marolin's papier-mâché figures are known for their lightweight construction and delicate artistry, continuing a tradition that dates back to 1900. This shepherd figure fits within the Marolin Nativities collection, which includes shepherds and villagers designed for indoor nativity scenes. Navidad Nativities carefully selects and ships each imported piece from this historic studio, ensuring collectors receive authentic, hand-painted artisan nativity figures.
