The Shepherd With Lantern from Marolin is a finely detailed papier-mâché figure made in Thuringia, Germany, a region renowned for traditional nativity craftsmanship. The figure depicts a barefoot shepherd standing on a naturalistic base, holding a lantern aloft in one hand and a wooden staff in the other. His clothing features textured robes painted in earthy tones, reflecting the humble shepherd’s role in the nativity story.

Marolin figures are created using historic moulds and hand-painted to capture expressive facial features and realistic textures. This figure is offered in a single, unspecified size and is ideal for indoor nativity sets, enhancing traditional Christmas displays with authentic European artisan quality. Navidad Nativities carefully selects and imports these collectible figures, known for their heritage and craftsmanship.
