Kneeling Shepherd With Sheep

The Kneeling Shepherd With Sheep is a charming nativity figure from the Marolin Nativities collection, crafted in Thuringia, Germany. This figure captures a shepherd in a humble kneeling pose, gently holding a sheep, embodying the pastoral role in the nativity scene.

Made from papier-mâché using traditional molds dating back to 1900, the figure is carefully hand-painted to bring out detailed facial expressions and clothing textures. The shepherd wears a brown hat, a tan vest over a blue shirt, and brown pants, all painted with soft, natural tones. The sheep is depicted resting against the shepherd's knee on a green base that simulates grass.

This single-size figure is ideal for indoor nativity displays, offering a collectible piece that combines traditional German craftsmanship with the rich heritage of nativity scenes. Navidad Nativities selects and ships each figure through their Pennsylvania workshop, ensuring quality and authenticity.
