This hand-carved wooden figure represents a kneeling shepherd holding a stick, from the Heide Rustika collection by Original Heide. It features detailed carving and hand-painted finishing with fabric draping.

The Shepherd Kneeling with Stick is a finely detailed nativity figure from the Heide Rustika collection by Original Heide, a family woodcarving workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy. This figure is hand-carved from maple and lime wood, posed on a wire armature, and draped in hardened fabric clothing to enhance realism and texture.

The figure depicts a shepherd in a kneeling position, holding a wooden staff, with a long beard and expressive face, dressed in layered garments including a textured outer cloak. Available in sizes ranging from 12 to 40 cm, this artisan nativity figure is designed for indoor nativity scenes and collectible sets. Navidad Nativities carefully selects and ships these traditional Italian nativity figures, known for their craftsmanship and heritage.
