Mary and Joseph Knocking is a hand-carved wooden nativity figure set from Original Heide's Hand-Carved Wooden Nativity Figures collection, featuring figures posed on wire armatures and draped in hardened fabrics.

This finely detailed nativity figure set depicts Mary and Joseph in the moment of knocking, a poignant scene from the nativity story. Created by Original Heide, a family woodcarving workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy, these figures are hand-carved from maple and lime wood. Each figure is carefully posed on a wire armature, allowing for naturalistic positioning, and dressed in hardened fabric garments that add texture and realism.

Mary is shown wearing layered clothing with a headscarf, while Joseph carries a staff and wears a satchel, both rendered with meticulous hand-painting. The set includes a donkey carrying supplies, enhancing the narrative and visual richness. Available in sizes ranging from 12 to 40 cm, these indoor figures are collectible heirloom-quality pieces that reflect traditional craftsmanship and artistry. Navidad Nativities selects and ships these figures, ensuring authenticity and quality.
