This figure represents a man carrying a bag, part of the Heide Rustika collection by Original Heide. It is hand-carved from wood and dressed in finely crafted hardened fabric clothing.

The Man with Bag figure is a hand-carved wooden nativity figure from the Heide Rustika collection by Original Heide, a family workshop in Val Gardena, Italy. The figure depicts a man carrying a sack over his shoulder, dressed in detailed clothing made from hardened fabric draped over a wire armature. The craftsmanship highlights the traditional woodcarving techniques of the region, with hand-painted features enhancing the lifelike expression and textures.

Available in various sizes ranging from 12 to 40 cm, this figure fits well within traditional nativity sets and scenes. The use of maple and lime wood, combined with the workshop's signature approach to carving and fabric treatment, creates a collectible nativity figure that brings rustic charm and authenticity to indoor nativity displays. Navidad Nativities selects and ships these figures, ensuring quality and heritage in every piece.
