This Wooly Sheep Looking Forward figure is part of the Heide Immanuel collection by Original Heide, a family workshop in Val Gardena. It features hand-carved wood with lifelike texture and hand-painted details.

The Wooly Sheep Looking Forward is a hand-carved wooden nativity animal figure from the Original Heide studio, known for its masterful craftsmanship in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy. This figure is carved from mountain maple and lime wood and posed on a wire armature, then draped in hardened fabric to create the realistic wool texture. The hand-painted finish adds naturalistic detail to the sheep's face and hooves.

Offered in sizes ranging approximately from 10 to 40 cm, this sheep pairs well with the Heide Immanuel nativity sets and figures. Each piece is hand-signed by the artisans, ensuring authenticity and collectible quality. The figure is designed for indoor nativity scenes and complements traditional and rustic wooden nativity sets.
