Veronica is a hand-carved wooden figure from Original Heide, a family workshop in Val Gardena, Italy. It features a figure draped in hardened fabrics over a wire armature.

Veronica is a finely hand-carved wooden figure crafted by Original Heide, a renowned family woodcarving workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy. This figure is part of their tradition of creating detailed nativity figures using maple and lime wood. The figure is posed on a wire armature, allowing for naturalistic draping of the hardened fabric clothing, which adds lifelike texture and depth.

The figure depicts Veronica kneeling, wearing layered robes in muted earth tones with a white cloth held in her hands. The hand-painted finish enhances the delicate facial features and the realistic folds of the fabric. This artisan nativity figure is suitable for indoor nativity scenes and complements traditional nativity sets from Italy. Sizes range from small to large, fitting well with various nativity displays.

Selected and shipped by Navidad Nativities, this figure represents the high craftsmanship and heritage of Val Gardena woodcarving, making it a collectible piece for nativity enthusiasts.
