Thief Dismas with cross is a hand-carved wooden figure from Original Heide, a family workshop in Val Gardena, Italy, known for detailed nativity and religious figures carved in maple and lime wood.

This figure represents Thief Dismas, the penitent thief crucified alongside Jesus, depicted here with a cross. It is crafted by Original Heide, a renowned South Tyrol family woodcarving workshop specializing in hand-carved nativity and religious figures. The figure is carved from wood, posed on a wire armature, and draped in hardened fabric to create realistic clothing textures.

Original Heide figures are hand-painted and carved from maple and lime wood, maintaining traditional craftsmanship from Val Gardena. This piece is part of their indoor collection of collectible wooden figures, offered in sizes ranging from 12 to 20 cm. Navidad Nativities selects and imports these authentic Italian figures, ensuring heirloom quality and artistic detail.
