The Soldier figure from Original Heide represents a Roman soldier, hand-carved in wood and dressed in traditional hardened fabric garments. This figure exemplifies the craftsmanship of the Original Heide workshop in Val Gardena, Italy.

The Soldier figure is a finely hand-carved wooden nativity figure crafted by the Original Heide family workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy. This figure portrays a Roman soldier, detailed with a spear and rope, wearing a metallic-looking armor breastplate, a red cape, and period-appropriate clothing. The figure is posed on a wire armature allowing for naturalistic posture and is draped in hardened fabric garments that add texture and realism.

Original Heide figures are carved from maple and lime wood and hand-painted to bring out intricate facial features and clothing details. The Soldier figure is part of a broad range of traditional and large nativity sets and figures, offered in sizes from 10 cm to 40 cm. This artisan nativity figure is suitable for indoor nativity scenes and collectible nativity displays, selected and shipped by Navidad Nativities, a trusted retailer known for their expertise in hand-carved wooden nativity figures.
