This Soldier figure is a hand-carved wooden nativity figure crafted by Original Heide, a renowned family workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy. The figure is carved from maple and lime wood, posed on a wire armature, and draped in hardened fabrics to create realistic clothing textures. The soldier is depicted wearing armor with a helmet, a red cape, and holding a spear, embodying the Roman soldier role often seen in nativity scenes.

Available in various sizes ranging from 10 to 40 cm, this figure fits well within traditional nativity sets. The hand-painted details and the use of natural wood materials make it a collectible nativity figure suitable for indoor display.
