Sleeping Apostle is a hand-carved wooden figure from Original Heide, a family workshop in Val Gardena, Italy. It features a seated apostle draped in finely detailed hardened fabric clothing.

This Sleeping Apostle figure represents one of the disciples in a restful pose, carved and hand-painted by Original Heide, a renowned family woodcarving workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol. The figure is crafted from maple and lime wood, posed on a wire armature to allow naturalistic positioning.

The figure is dressed in draped hardened fabrics, hand-painted to depict a blue tunic with a brown outer garment, adding texture and realism. Available in sizes ranging from 10 to 30 cm, this artisan nativity figure fits well in traditional nativity sets and collections. Navidad Nativities selects and ships these figures, known for their craftsmanship and heritage in Italian nativity art.
