Simon of Cyrene Helps Jesus is a hand-carved wooden figure from the Heide Immanuel collection by Original Heide. This figure is crafted in the traditional Val Gardena style with painted details and draped in hardened fabric.

This figure represents Simon of Cyrene assisting Jesus during the carrying of the cross, a poignant moment from the Passion narrative. Created by Original Heide, a family woodcarving workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy, it is part of the Heide Immanuel collection known for its detailed hand-carved wooden figures. Each figure is carved from maple and lime wood, posed on wire armatures, and dressed in carefully hardened fabrics to enhance realism and durability.

Available in sizes ranging from 10 to 40 cm, this figure exemplifies the traditional craftsmanship and artistic heritage of Italian nativity and Passion figures. The hand-painted finish highlights the expressive faces and intricate clothing folds, making it a collectible piece suitable for indoor nativity scenes or Passion displays. Navidad Nativities selects and ships these figures, ensuring quality and authenticity in every piece.
