This figure depicts a shepherd holding a lamb in his arms, from the Heide Immanuel collection by Original Heide. It features hand-carved wood with detailed facial expressions and traditional fabric clothing.

The Shepherd with Lamb In His Arms is a finely hand-carved wooden figure from Original Heide's Heide Immanuel collection, a family workshop in Val Gardena, Italy. This piece captures a shepherd carrying a lamb, embodying the pastoral role in the nativity scene. The figure is carved from wood and posed on a wire armature, allowing natural posture and movement.

The figure is dressed in traditional fabric garments that are hardened to hold their shape, enhancing the realistic and tactile quality of the piece. The hand-painted details on the face and hands bring lifelike expression and warmth. Available in multiple sizes ranging from 10 cm to 40 cm, this shepherd figure fits well into various nativity set scales. It is an indoor collectible nativity figure, perfect for traditional or large nativity displays.

Selected and shipped by Navidad Nativities, this artisan nativity figure reflects the heritage and craftsmanship of Val Gardena woodcarving, making it a treasured addition to any nativity scene collection.
