This figure depicts a kneeling shepherd carrying a lamb on his shoulders, from the Heide Immanuel collection by Original Heide. It features hand-carved wood with detailed hand-painted finishes and fabric draping.

The Shepherd Kneeling with Lamb is a finely crafted wooden nativity figure from Original Heide's Heide Immanuel collection, a family workshop renowned for hand-carving in maple and lime wood. This figure captures a shepherd in a kneeling pose, carrying a lamb on his shoulders, symbolizing care and guidance in the nativity story. The figure is posed on a wire armature, allowing for dynamic and natural positioning.

The craftsmanship includes hand-carved wood with hand-painted details that bring lifelike expression and texture to the figure. The shepherd's clothing is created from hardened fabrics draped over the armature, adding depth and realism. Available in sizes ranging from 10 to 40 cm, this indoor collectible nativity figure complements traditional nativity sets, especially those emphasizing detailed shepherd and villager characters. Navidad Nativities carefully selects and imports each piece, ensuring heirloom quality and authentic Italian artistry.
