Roman with Tunic is a hand-carved wooden figure from the Heide Immanuel collection by Original Heide, crafted in Val Gardena, Italy. It features detailed carving and is draped in hardened fabric clothing.

This Roman figure, part of the Heide Immanuel collection by Original Heide, represents a villager or person from the nativity scene era. It is hand-carved from maple and lime wood in the traditional Val Gardena style, a family woodcarving workshop known for its detailed and expressive figures. The figure is posed on a wire armature, allowing naturalistic positioning, and is dressed in finely crafted hardened fabric that mimics authentic tunic draping.

Finished with hand-painted details, the figure captures lifelike facial expressions and realistic clothing textures. Available in multiple sizes ranging from 10 cm to 40 cm tall, this artisan nativity figure is ideal for indoor nativity sets and complements traditional Christmas nativity scenes. Navidad Nativities carefully selects and imports these heirloom-quality figures, renowned for their craftsmanship and cultural heritage.
