The Ox figure from Original Heide represents a lifelike nativity animal, hand-carved and hand-painted by skilled artisans in Val Gardena, Italy. It features the studio's signature craftsmanship with carved wood and draped hardened fabrics.

This Ox figure is part of the Original Heide collection, a family woodcarving workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy, renowned for its hand-carved nativity figures. Each piece is carved from mountain maple and lime wood, posed on wire armatures, and draped in hardened fabrics for a naturalistic appearance. The figure is hand-painted and textured by master artisans, capturing the lifelike gesture and expression of the ox.

The animals from Original Heide complement their various collections such as Immanuel, Rustika, and Hannah, and are designed to pair seamlessly with their nativity sets. This indoor figure is available in sizes ranging from 12 to 20 cm, making it suitable for small to medium nativity scenes. Each piece is hand-signed by the studio, ensuring authenticity and quality craftsmanship. Navidad Nativities carefully selects and imports these figures, recognized for their realistic detail and traditional style.
