Man with Carpet is a hand-carved wooden figure from the Heide Immanuel collection by Original Heide, a family workshop in Val Gardena. It features carved wood posed on wire armatures and draped in hardened fabrics.

This Man with Carpet figure represents a traditional villager from the Original Heide Heide Immanuel collection, known for its detailed hand-carved wooden nativity figures. Crafted in the Val Gardena region of South Tyrol, Italy, the figure is carved from wood and hand-painted with naturalistic detail. The figure is posed on a wire armature, allowing a lifelike stance, and dressed in carefully hardened fabric garments, including a richly textured carpet draped over the shoulder.

Available in sizes ranging from 10 to 40 cm, this figure fits well within large or small nativity sets. The craftsmanship reflects the heritage of the Original Heide workshop, renowned for combining traditional carving techniques with fabric draping to create expressive, collectible nativity figures. This indoor figure is ideal for collectors seeking authentic, artisan nativity scenes from Italy, curated by Navidad Nativities.
