This King standing figure from Original Heide represents one of the Magi, carved and hand-painted in the traditional Val Gardena style. It features detailed vibrant fabric clothing and a dignified pose.

The King standing figure is part of the renowned Original Heide nativity collection, crafted by a family woodcarving workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy. This hand-carved wooden figure is posed on a wire armature and draped in richly detailed, hardened fabrics that bring the regal character to life. The figure holds a golden orb and wears a turban and a green cloak over cream-colored robes, adorned with intricate trim and embellishments.

Available in sizes ranging from 12 to 20 cm, this artisan nativity figure exemplifies the high craftsmanship and traditional techniques of the Heide Studio. The Magi figures are known for their impressive detail and vibrant fabrics, capturing the reverence of the wise men visiting the Christ Child. This figure pairs beautifully with others from the Heide Hannah collection to create a classic indoor nativity scene.
