Jesus on the Cross is a hand-carved wooden Passion figure from Original Heide, a family workshop in Val Gardena, Italy. It features finely detailed carving and hand-painted finish with fabric drapery.

This Jesus on the Cross figure represents the crucifixion of Christ, a central Passion subject. Created by the Original Heide workshop, known for hand-carving nativity and devotional figures in maple and lime wood, it exemplifies their traditional craftsmanship. The figure is posed on a wire armature and draped in hardened fabric, enhancing realism and detail.

The cross is carved wood with a natural finish, while Jesus is hand-painted to show wounds and expression. The loincloth is a fabric element hardened for durability. This piece is part of a broader collection of carved wooden figures from Val Gardena, Italy, offered in multiple sizes from 12 to 20 cm. Navidad Nativities selects and imports these figures, renowned for their artisan quality and heritage.
