Jesus on Donkey is a hand-carved wooden figure from the Heide Immanuel collection by Original Heide, a family workshop in Val Gardena, Italy. It features carved figures posed on wire armatures and draped in hardened fabrics.

This Jesus on Donkey figure represents Jesus riding a donkey, a traditional biblical scene from the nativity story. It is crafted by Original Heide, a renowned family woodcarving workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy, known for its hand-carved maple and lime wood nativity figures. The figure is posed on a wire armature and dressed in finely detailed hardened fabric garments, capturing lifelike movement and texture.

The donkey is carefully carved and painted in naturalistic tones, complementing Jesus' serene expression and flowing robes. Available in sizes ranging from 10 to 40 cm, this wooden nativity figure fits beautifully into indoor nativity sets and scenes. Navidad Nativities selects and ships these heirloom-quality figures, celebrated for their craftsmanship and traditional Italian carving heritage.
