This figure set depicts Jesus and Simon of Cyrene, crafted by Original Heide from Val Gardena. It features hand-carved wooden figures posed on wire armatures and draped in hardened fabrics.

Jesus and Simon of Cyrene is a detailed scene figure from the Heide Immanuel collection by Original Heide, a family workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy. The figures are hand-carved from wood, posed on wire armatures, and dressed in hardened fabric garments, showcasing traditional craftsmanship and artistic detail.

The set portrays the biblical moment where Simon of Cyrene helps Jesus carry the cross, with Jesus shown seated and wearing a crown of thorns, and Simon standing behind carrying a wooden beam. The figures are hand-painted with realistic colors and textures, including blood marks on Jesus' robe and wounds, enhancing the emotional impact of the scene.

Offered in sizes ranging from 10 to 30 cm, these indoor collectible nativity figures are part of Original Heide’s renowned nativity sets, known for their heritage and quality. Navidad Nativities selects and ships these figures, ensuring authentic artisan nativity pieces from Italy.
