This Footman with Greyhound figure is part of the Heide Immanuel collection by Original Heide, a family workshop in Val Gardena, Italy. The figure is hand-carved from wood and dressed in hardened fabric.

The Footman with Greyhound is a finely detailed wooden figure from the Heide Immanuel collection by Original Heide, a renowned family woodcarving workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol. This artisan nativity figure is hand-carved from maple and lime wood, posed on a wire armature, and hand-painted with intricate facial features and vibrant clothing. The figure wears a blue jacket, red pants, and a cream shawl, topped with a white and red turban, holding a leash attached to a realistically carved greyhound dog.

The figure is draped in hardened fabrics that add texture and authenticity to the piece, reflecting the traditional craftsmanship of the Original Heide studio. Available in sizes ranging from 10 to 30 cm, this collectible nativity figure complements large and small nativity sets alike. It is designed for indoor display and selected by Navidad Nativities, a trusted retailer known for curating high-quality handcrafted nativity scenes.
