The Elephant figure from Original Heide represents a lifelike nativity animal carved by a family workshop in Val Gardena, Italy. It features hand-carved wood with a textured and hand-painted finish.

This Elephant figure is part of the Original Heide collection, crafted by a family woodcarving workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy. It is carved entirely from mountain maple wood, then hand-finished, textured, and painted by master artisans to capture realistic animal gestures. Each figure is hand-signed by the studio, emphasizing its artisan quality.

The figure is posed on a wire armature and draped in hardened fabrics, consistent with Original Heide's approved construction method. This undressed animal pairs well with Original Heide's Immanuel, Rustika, and Hannah collections, offering a versatile addition to traditional nativity sets. The figure is available in sizes ranging from 12 to 20 cm tall, suitable for indoor nativity scenes.

Selected and shipped by Navidad Nativities, this wooden nativity figure exemplifies heirloom craftsmanship and traditional Italian carving techniques, making it a collectible piece for nativity enthusiasts.
