The Dark Wooly Sheep Reclining is a hand-carved wooden figure from the Heide Immanuel collection by Original Heide, a renowned family workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy. This figure captures a sheep resting in a natural pose, detailed with a textured wool finish that mimics real fleece. The figure is crafted from wood, posed on a wire armature, and draped in hardened fabric to create the characteristic wooly appearance.

Original Heide is known for its traditional craftsmanship using maple and lime wood, with each piece hand-painted to enhance lifelike details. This sheep figure is part of their nativity animals range, designed to complement nativity scenes and sets. Available in multiple sizes ranging from 10 to 40 cm, it suits various nativity displays.
