The Comet star is a hand-carved wooden accessory from Original Heide's Hand-Carved Wooden Nativity Figures collection. It features a stylized star with trailing rays, finished in a gold tone.

The Comet star from Original Heide is a finely hand-carved wooden accessory designed to complement nativity scenes. Crafted in the Val Gardena workshop, this figure is carved from maple and lime wood, then hand-painted with a gold finish to evoke the traditional star of Bethlehem. The star's design includes a six-pointed star with elongated trailing rays, symbolizing the guiding light of the nativity story.

Original Heide figures are known for their craftsmanship, posed on wire armatures and draped in hardened fabrics, though this accessory is a solid carved piece. It pairs beautifully with the Immanuel and Rustika collections, enhancing any indoor nativity display. The figure is offered in sizes ranging from 12 to 14 cm, fitting well within small to medium nativity sets. Navidad Nativities carefully selects and ships these heirloom-quality figures from Italy, ensuring collectors receive authentic artisan nativity pieces.
