This Annunciation to Mary figure set from Original Heide depicts the biblical moment with hand-carved wooden figures posed on wire armatures and draped in hardened fabrics. The figures are hand-painted, reflecting the studio's traditional craftsmanship from Val Gardena, Italy.

The Annunciation to Mary set by Original Heide captures the angel Gabriel announcing to Mary her role as the mother of Jesus. These figures are part of the renowned woodcarving tradition of Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy, where Original Heide operates as a family workshop. Each figure is hand-carved from maple and lime wood, then carefully posed on wire armatures to allow naturalistic gestures and expressions.

The figures are draped with finely hardened fabrics that simulate real clothing textures, hand-painted with soft, realistic colors to enhance their lifelike appearance. This artisan nativity scene piece is available in sizes ranging from 10 to 30 cm, fitting well within indoor nativity displays. Navidad Nativities selects and ships these figures, ensuring quality and authenticity for collectors and enthusiasts of traditional wooden nativity figures.
