Navidad Partners Meet with Iconic Studios in the Italian Alps at Ortisei

Two weeks ago, Michael Stumpf, Founder of Navidad Nativities, and A.J. DiAntonio, Partner, were once again in Val Gardena, Italy to meet with our premier studios that produce the stunning nativity figure brands that we represent here in the United States.  Those studios include Original Heide, ULPE Wood Art, and PEMA Woodcarvings. Each of those studios create their own unique line of distinctive, heirloom figures in myriad sizes, with elegant details and gestures, all hand finished and hand painted in celebration of the birth of the Saviour.  This entire geographic area of Italy is rich in the traditions of art and woodcarving, with Ortisei nested in the stunning Dolomite Mountains.

These studios create the finest figures we have found anywhere in the world.  And with open stock, it is relatively easy to add to your collection each year if you order early.  Figures are available in many sizes as well.  Custom commission nativity settings are available from Navidad to accomodate any size figure or location in homes, churches or museums…simply contact us to discuss your ideas…again, the sooner the better in any calendar year as our schedule fills up.
