This Custom Nativity was commissioned to celebrate the legacy of the Italian family’s matriarch and is the centerpiece of their Christmas Celebration. The crumbling Roman architecture, a signature of Navidad Nativities, features two structures… a towering column and a beautiful arched alcove niche along with an exposed beam roof stable structure that shelters the Holy Family. The scene sits above a small glowing grotto with a stream flowing from beneath the building. The figures are from the Immanuel Collection by Original Heide of Val Gardena, Italy and fine details were added to personalize the creation for the family including a swatch of grandma’s clothing. This family adds new figures each year allowing their tradition to grow. Setting up this Nativity with the grandchildren is a cherished family tradition for all involved.
