Inspired by a museum piece we discovered in Italy, this is a first for Navidad. A stunning nativity hung on a wall in your home is a special blessing in that it is far away from tiny hands and pets and it’s positioned so that you can easily look ‘into’ the setting at eye level,. There is an intimacy in that experience that creates a feeling of being part of the scene.
Our newest design is crafted entirely of balsa wood. It incorporates elements of both a Judean Inn wall and an attached stable. An engaging stairway up to the Holy Family showcases a humble Shepherd along with his sheep and some wandering goats. The carved wood, softly hand painted figures are from the PEMA Collection, with studios in the Italian Alps. Overall size, mounted on solid Black Walnut is 25” tall, 15” wide and it extends from the surface of the wall to about 10”. Figures are permanently affixed.
