Angela Tripi was one of the world’s premier designers of stunning terracotta nativity figures, created in her studio in Palermo Italy.
This simple yet elegant piece…The AngelaTripi Nativity.… pays homage to this amazing artist with a custom wood nativity setting designed by Navidad Nativities.
The figures in highly detailed, hand painted resins, molded from original terracotta figures and from our private collection, are approximately 7-8″ tall, produced in limited edition many years ago by Department 56 and are no longer sold. The setting also includes hand spun poplar trees, a hand made palm tree and other accessory details like terracotta pots, and more.
Nestled on an oak trimmed base, the figures with wonderful gestures, include Joseph, Mary, the Christ Child, Three wisemen and a Shepherd with a lamb.
