The Tyrolean Assayers Crib is a unique nativity set from Navidad Nativities Atelier, inspired by alpine Christmas traditions of South Tyrol. It features the Original Ulrich Collection figures in a traditional Dolomite Mountains stable encased in an antique traveling Assayer’s Apothecary Scale.

The Tyrolean Assayers Crib is a one-of-a-kind nativity scene created by the Navidad Nativities Atelier in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. This nativity set re-imagines the traditional Christmas Crib by encasing the scene within an antique traveling Assayer’s Apothecary Scale. It reflects the alpine Christmas traditions of South Tyrol, a mountainous region in Northern Italy.

The nativity features the Original Ulrich Collection of carved and hand-painted figures arranged in a traditional wooden stable typical of the Dolomite Mountains. The stable is dusted with a light layer of snow, evoking the winter landscape of the “old country.” This indoor nativity set is designed for collectors who appreciate unique and artistic interpretations of the nativity story. It is displayed in the World Nativities Exhibition at the Glencairn Museum in Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania.
