The Tranquility Creche

The Tranquility Creche presents a serene nativity scene crafted with all natural materials, showcasing sublimely carved sculptural figures from the Leonardo Collection by Rowi Studios in Val Gardena, Italy. These figures are approximately 7 inches tall, finished in a natural oil color that highlights the alpine maple wood grain.

The figures are arranged on a base of Buckingham river rocks, complemented by natural elements such as a windswept manzanita branch, dried broom, and preserved deer moss. A glowing circular backdrop made from a live edge slab of Ambrosia Maple, treated with antique oil, adds depth and warmth to the scene. Two adjustable warm white LED lights illuminate the display, enhancing its inviting atmosphere.

Designed as a family nativity, this piece allows for personalization by adding found natural objects like rocks, shells, pine cones, or driftwood. The central elements are fixed, while other natural pieces can be rearranged to encourage individual artistic expression. The overall size is approximately 26 inches wide by 15 inches deep by 16 inches high, making it ideal for indoor display on a dining room sideboard or entry hall table. Additional figures can be added over time to expand the scene.
