The Shepherd with stick represents a traditional nativity figure from the Heide Hannah collection by Original Heide, a family woodcarving workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy. This figure is hand-carved from maple and lime wood, posed on a wire armature, and draped in carefully hardened fabric garments that give it a lifelike presence.

Standing at 12 cm (4.72 inches), this shepherd figure wears layered fabric clothing including a white tunic, brown undergarment, and a green cloak, with a striped sash around the waist. The figure holds a wooden staff and is barefoot, reflecting traditional shepherd attire. The hand-painted finish enhances the detailed facial features and adds depth to the natural wood carving.
