This hand-carved wooden figure from Pema Woodcarvings' Rainell collection depicts a shepherd carrying one sheep on his shoulders and holding another. It exemplifies traditional Italian craftsmanship from Val Gardena, hand-painted with natural tones.

The Shepherd with Two Sheep figure is a finely hand-carved wooden nativity figure by Pema Woodcarvings, crafted in Val Gardena, Italy. Part of the Rainell collection, this figure features a barefoot shepherd dressed in flowing robes and a hat, carrying one sheep on his shoulders while gently holding another at his side. The figure is hand-painted in warm natural shades that highlight the texture of the clothing and the woolly sheep.

This piece is offered in sizes ranging from 9 to 15 cm, fitting well within small to medium nativity sets. The Rainell line is known for its detailed carving and delicate paintwork, making it a collectible heirloom nativity figure. Navidad Nativities selects and ships these authentic Italian figures, which are prized for their traditional style and craftsmanship.
