This Shepherd kneeling figure is part of the Original Heide studio's handcrafted nativity collection. It features hand-carved wood posed on a wire armature and dressed in hardened fabrics.

The Shepherd kneeling figure from Original Heide represents a humble shepherd in a traditional nativity scene. Carved from wood, this figure is carefully posed on a wire armature allowing for naturalistic posture. The figure is dressed in finely crafted, hardened fabric garments that add texture and realism. The hand-painted details bring the shepherd's face and clothing to life with subtle color and expression.

Produced by the Original Heide family workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy, this figure is part of a heritage of hand-carved nativity figures made from maple and lime wood. Offered in sizes ranging from 12 to 20 cm, this shepherd fits well in small to medium traditional nativity sets. Navidad Nativities, a respected retailer with museum and design credentials, carefully selects and imports each piece to ensure quality and authenticity.
