This white grazing sheep figure is part of Original Heide's lifelike nativity animals, hand-carved from wood and dressed in wool fabric. It complements the Hannah collection with its detailed craftsmanship.

The Sheep with wool grazing white is a finely hand-carved wooden nativity animal from Original Heide, a family workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy. This figure is carved entirely from mountain maple, then hand-finished, textured, and painted by master artisans to capture a naturalistic pose and expression. The sheep's body is draped in soft white wool fabric, adding tactile realism to the piece.

Original Heide figures are posed on wire armatures beneath their hardened fabric coverings, allowing for dynamic and lifelike stances. This sheep is offered in sizes ranging from 12 to 20 cm, suitable for indoor nativity scenes. It pairs well with the Heide Hannah collection and other traditional nativity sets, making it a cherished collectible for nativity enthusiasts and collectors of hand-carved wooden figures.
