This hand-carved wooden sheep figure from Original Heide features lifelike wool texture and a grazing pose. It reflects the craftsmanship of the Val Gardena workshop known for detailed nativity animals.

The Sheep with wool grazing brown is a finely hand-carved wooden figure crafted by Original Heide, a family woodcarving workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy. This figure is carved from mountain maple and lime wood and hand-painted by master artisans. The sheep is posed on a wire armature and dressed in realistic, hardened fabric wool that captures the natural texture and curls of sheep's fleece.

Original Heide is renowned for its lifelike nativity animals, and this sheep pairs beautifully with the Heide Hannah collection and other traditional nativity sets. Offered in sizes ranging from 12 to 20 cm, this indoor figure is part of a rich tradition of Italian nativity craftsmanship. Navidad Nativities carefully selects and imports these figures, ensuring quality and authenticity for collectors and nativity enthusiasts.
