This figure depicts a beige woolly sheep grazing, part of the Original Heide collection known for its hand-carved wooden nativity animals with lifelike gestures and detailed fabric dressing.

The Sheep with wool grazing beige is a finely hand-carved wooden figure from Original Heide, a family workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy. Crafted from mountain maple and lime wood, this figure is posed on a wire armature and draped in hardened fabric to simulate the sheep’s woolly coat. The figure is hand-finished, textured, and hand-painted by master artisans to capture a naturalistic and lifelike gesture.

Original Heide’s animals are designed to complement the Heide Hannah collection and traditional nativity sets, offering collectors and nativity enthusiasts a realistic and detailed representation of nativity animals. The figure is suitable for indoor nativity scenes and is available in sizes ranging from 12 to 20 cm. Navidad Nativities selects and ships these figures, ensuring quality and authenticity in each piece.
