This reclining sheep figure from Original Heide represents a lifelike nativity animal with white wool. It is hand-carved in wood and dressed in textured fabric, reflecting the workshop's traditional craftsmanship.

The Sheep reclining with wool white is a finely hand-carved wooden figure crafted by the Original Heide family workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy. Known for their masterful carving in mountain maple and lime wood, Original Heide creates figures posed on wire armatures and draped in hardened fabrics, giving this sheep its realistic wool texture and vibrant appearance.

This figure is part of a collection that pairs well with the Heide Hannah line and other traditional nativity sets. The sheep's naturalistic pose and detailed hand-painted face highlight the artisan skill behind this collectible nativity animal. Available in sizes ranging from 12 to 20 cm, it fits perfectly into indoor nativity scenes, offering a classic touch to nativity sets made in Italy.
