This reclining sheep figure from the Heide Hannah collection by Original Heide captures lifelike animal gestures in hand-carved wood, dressed in textured gray wool fabric.

The Sheep reclining with wool gray is a finely hand-carved wooden figure from Original Heide's Heide Hannah collection, known for its detailed nativity animals. Each figure is carved from mountain maple wood, posed on a wire armature to allow naturalistic positioning, and dressed in hardened fabrics that simulate the texture of real wool. This figure's gray wool covering adds a tactile dimension that enhances its realism.

Original Heide is a family workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy, specializing in hand-carved nativity figures crafted from maple and lime wood. The workshop hand-paints and finishes each piece with expert care, making these figures collectible heirloom-quality nativity animals. The Sheep reclining with wool gray is offered in sizes ranging from 12 to 20 cm, suitable for indoor nativity sets and scenes. Navidad Nativities selects and ships these authentic Italian figures to collectors and enthusiasts worldwide.
