This reclining sheep figure from Original Heide features black wool and is part of their lifelike nativity animal collection. It is hand-carved and dressed in fabric, showcasing the studio's craftsmanship.

The Sheep reclining with wool black is a finely hand-carved wooden figure from Original Heide, a family workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy. This figure captures naturalistic detail with a textured black wool covering and a hand-painted wooden face and hooves. It is posed on a wire armature and draped in hardened fabric, consistent with the Original Heide construction method.

Crafted from mountain maple wood, the sheep is part of the studio's traditional nativity animals collection, designed to complement the Heide Hannah nativity sets. The figure stands about 12 cm tall, suitable for indoor nativity scenes. Navidad Nativities carefully selects and imports these figures, known for their artisan quality and lifelike gestures.
