This Dark Sheep Walking with Bell figure is part of the Pema Kostner collection by Pema Woodcarvings, known for hand-carved and hand-painted wooden nativity figures from Val Gardena, Italy. It features detailed carving and a naturalistic finish.

The Dark Sheep Walking with Bell is a finely hand-carved wooden figure from the Pema Kostner collection by Pema Woodcarvings, a respected Italian studio based in Val Gardena. This figure represents a walking sheep with a bell around its neck, carved with careful attention to the texture of the wool and naturalistic coloration in dark brown and tan hues.

As part of the traditional nativity animals category, this figure complements nativity scenes by adding authentic pastoral detail. The Pema Kostner line is known for its hand-painted finish that enhances the wood's natural grain, creating a collectible indoor nativity figure ideal for small to medium-sized nativity sets. Sizes range from 9.5 to 16 cm, fitting well with other figures in the collection. Navidad Nativities selects and ships these artisan figures, ensuring quality and authenticity.
