The Lying Camel is a hand-carved wooden nativity animal from ULPE Wood Art's Original Ulrich collection, known for its traditional craftsmanship from Val Gardena, Italy.

This Lying Camel figure represents a resting camel, an essential animal in traditional nativity scenes symbolizing the journey of the Magi. It is part of the Original Ulrich collection by ULPE Wood Art, a studio renowned for its hand-carved wooden nativity figures crafted in Val Gardena, Italy. The figure is carefully carved from wood and hand-painted to capture naturalistic details and warm tones.

The camel is depicted lying down with detailed saddlebags and tassels, reflecting the traditional style and attention to detail typical of the Original Ulrich line. Available in sizes ranging from 10 to 15 cm, this indoor figure complements other nativity animals and figures in the collection. Navidad Nativities selects and ships these authentic Italian figures, which are prized for their artisanal quality and heritage.
