This Holy Family group from Original Heide represents Joseph, Mary, and the infant Jesus. It features hand-carved wooden figures posed on wire armatures and draped in hardened fabrics.

The Holy Family Orient Group 1 is a finely crafted nativity set by Original Heide, a family woodcarving workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy. This set includes three figures: Joseph standing with a staff, Mary seated with a white head covering, and the baby Jesus lying in a wooden manger. Each figure is hand-carved from wood and hand-painted with delicate facial features and naturalistic expressions.

True to the Original Heide tradition, the figures are posed on wire armatures allowing naturalistic stances, and are dressed in carefully draped hardened fabric clothing. The fabrics are richly colored, with Mary's garments in red and blue and Joseph's in brown and beige tones. The baby Jesus figure is detailed with a cloth diaper and lies on a white fabric in the manger. The figures come in sizes ranging from 12 to 20 cm tall, suitable for indoor nativity displays.

Selected and shipped by Navidad Nativities, this artisan nativity figure group exemplifies traditional Italian craftsmanship and is ideal for collectors seeking a classic, hand-carved wooden nativity scene with authentic fabric costumes and detailed carving.
