The Herdsman with stick is a hand-carved wooden figure from the Original Heide studio's Heide Hannah collection. It features a traditional shepherd character posed with a staff, dressed in fabric garments.

This figure represents a herdsman or shepherd, a classic character in nativity scenes, carrying a stick and wearing layered fabric clothing. It is part of the Heide Hannah collection by Original Heide, a family workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy, known for hand-carving nativity figures in maple and lime wood. The figure is posed on a wire armature, allowing natural positioning, and draped in carefully hardened fabrics that simulate traditional shepherd attire.

Offered in sizes ranging from 12 to 20 cm, this wooden nativity figure showcases the artisan craftsmanship typical of Original Heide's work. The hand-painted details bring lifelike expression to the figure's face and hands, enhancing its role within traditional nativity sets. Navidad Nativities selects and ships these figures, reflecting their commitment to quality and heritage in nativity art.
